One of the perks of old style zombies - the ones that Voodoo created - over new style ones is that they hail from a culture that has good music, so there is much more of a chance of happening upon a zombie/calypso fusion. That’s what we’ve got here with this trio of Jamaican performers - Eloise, Bucky, and Bert, also known as The Eloise Trio. They’ve played all the island greats - the Zanzibar Hotel, Blackbeard’s, Captain Kidd’s Inn, and even more exotic sounding lodgings. This record appears to be from the late 50s, a good decade before George Romero would come along and ruin zombie music forever.
