At 4 ft 6 in, Johnny Puleo was technically considered a dwarf. I guess that’s short, but it’s only just over a foot shorter of my current height, and I have friends who are just slight of 5 ft. Leastwise, Puleo played harmonica, had an all-harmonica band, went on the lam from his manager at one point, and appeared on SCTV. Plus, he was apparently the official face of the television effort to promote the use of zip codes. This 1957 album is from his SECOND harmonica band!
